अविद्या बाद वाले (क्लेशों) का क्षेत्र है — चाहे वे प्रसुप्त हों, तनु (क्षीण) हों, विच्छिन्न (बाधित) हों या उदार (पूर्ण सक्रिय) हों।

अविद्या क्षेत्रमुत्तरेषां प्रसुप्ततनुविच्छिन्नोदाराणाम् ॥

avidya ksetram uttaresam prasupta-tanu-vicchinna-udaranam ||

Ignorance is the field of those that follow — whether dormant, thin, interrupted, or fully out.
