तैत्तिरीय उपनिषद 1.11.3

श्रद्धा से दो; बिना श्रद्धा के मत दो। उदारता से दो; विनम्रता से दो; आदर के साथ दो; समझ के साथ दो।

श्रद्धया देयम् । अश्रद्धयाऽदेयम् । श्रिया देयम् । ह्रिया देयम् । भिया देयम् । संविदा देयम् ॥

shraddhaya deyam | ashraddhaya ’deyam | shriya deyam | hriya deyam | bhiya deyam | samvida deyam ||

Give with faith; do not give without faith. Give generously; give with modesty; give with respect; give with understanding.
